Dominic Frisby – An Evening of Comedy, Songs and Satire
North Devon Resort Events Hall, IlfracombeAn experienced stand up and prolific writer of comic songs, Dominic’s show is a collection of anecdotes, jokes and music accompanied by one of Europe’s top jazz pianists, Chad Lelong, on keyboards. Dominic’s songs include, “We’re All Far Right Now” which has over 50 million views online. His song about Keir Starmer, “Captain Flip Flop”, also had millions of views. Other favourite’s include “I Love Wetherspoons”, “I’m Going to Marry Gary” and the ever changing “Maybe” song. A prominent libertarian, he provides a refreshing and funny take on the current issues faced by modern day Britain. As he says himself, “If you believe in things like free speech and free trade, you’ll like this show”.

Laughter Lab – North Devon Resort
Ilfracombe Comedy Club is launching at North Devon Resort. The Laughter Lab are bringing a full mixed-bill comedy night featuring some of the best talent from the UK comedy circuit. Headlining the launch show is the brilliant Simon Evans, one of the country’s most respected comedians. Known for his intelligent, sharply written stand-up and dry delivery, and appearances on Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, QI and Have I Got News For You, as well as BBC Radio 4. Joining Simon are Suzy Bennett and Luke Honnoraty, creating a fantastic night of live stand-up comedy from start to finish.
